The Detroit Lions host the division rival Green Bay Packers in NFL Week 14, which is always an important game for both franchises. While it is projected to be a one-sided affair, the Lions offense does see a boost with the return of rookie running back, and D’Andre Swift fantasy owners should feel comfortable starting him in an important week for fantasy.

D’Andre Swift Fantasy Outlook High

Swift has missed the past couple of weeks for Detroit. First, he was in concussion protocol. However, he cleared protocol last week, but missed another game due to a non-COVID illness. While he has been limited in practices, Swift is expected to make his return to the lineup today.

When we last saw Swift, he was beginning to see a larger workload and put things together, He has seen back to back double-digit carry games, running for 145 yards on 29 attempts in these two matchups. Swift also caught eight passes for 101 yards and a touchdown in these games.

The matchup against Green Bay is a positive one. The Packers have allowed the third-most fantasy points to the running back position this season, being prone to giving up large chunk plays on the ground. Swift appears to be a solid start for fantasy in his return in Week 14.
