Carson Wentz Out “Several More Weeks”

While obviously Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles is starting the season opener against the Falcons tonight, many thought Carson Wentz had a shot to suit up next week. According to Ian Rapoport, that is not the case. Per RapSheet, it’s possible Wentz is sidelined until October.

Steelers “Guess” Bell Signs Saturday

This is a smart move by Le’Veon Bell if it’s true. By signing Saturday, Bell gets to collect his week 1 check while saving a game of wear and tear on his body. If you were able to trade for Bell on a budget from a panicking owner, you may have really lucked out.

Vance McDonald Downgraded to DNP

It’s looking more and more that the Steelers will be without tight end Vance McDonald this week due to a foot injury. In his place, Jesse James slides back into the starting lineup, making him a TE2 this week against the Browns.
