Dai’Jean Dixon Draft Profile

Strengths

Dai’Jean Dixon has great length and a wingspan that should translate well to the NFL. He excels in the middle of the field. Using his wingspan and length, Dixon does an excellent job at reaching for the ball and catching with his hands. He has shown good flashes of transitioning to run after the catch. With his wingspan and size, Dixon has the ability to rise up for contested catches. Strong arms and hands lead to strong catches in traffic.

Weaknesses

Dixon needs to improve on his route running, as at times it looks like he relies on his physical tools. He needs to sharpen up his routes, as defenders have the ability to undercut rounded routes. Dixon needs to break down with centered hips on routes that bring him back to the quarterback, and he also needs to improve speed to be a deep ball threat in the NFL.
