The holidays are fast approaching and so too are college football bowl games! With the conclusion of the regular season this past Saturday, we now have a complete list of the bowl-eligible teams for the 2023 college football postseason. This year’s bowl season includes 41 different games meaning that 82 FBS schools will receive invites.

Regardless of whether a school is a member of a powerful league like the SEC, a mid-major league such as Conference USA, or playing as an FBS Independent without a conference affiliation, the six-win threshold remains consistent when it comes to teams qualifying for the college football postseason. Of course, the more games a team wins, the more likely the chances of being invited to a high-profile bowl game.

List of College Football Bowl-Eligible Teams by Conference

Below is a complete list of every team that earned the six wins needed to play in the 2023-24 college football bowl games. The overall list is broken down by conference. Teams are listed in order of overall win-loss record, and each league’s championship game participants are listed first. In leagues that still utilize a division format, the division winners playing in the conference title game are the top two teams listed.
