Projected Win Total

The Cincinnati Bengals over/under currently sits at 6.0, after they went 6-10 last season. In terms of players, the Bengals have made no significant changes from the 2018 season. They did, however, hire a new head coach (Zac Taylor) for the first time in 16 years. This change in coaching should give fantasy players optimism about the Bengals key offensive players, but it does not necessarily mean more wins in 2019.

Strength of Schedule

SOS is measured by calculating the fantasy points allowed by each team’s opponents to determine who has the easiest and most difficult fantasy schedules (rank #1 has the easiest schedule).

QB: 31st
RB: 20th
WR: 27th
TE: 14th

Passing Game

QB: Andy Dalton, Ryan Finley
WR: A.J. Green, Cody Core
WR: Tyler Boyd, Alex Erickson
WR: John Ross, Auden Tate
TE: Tyler Eifert, C.J. Uzomah

The main question for this passing game in 2019 is how Zac Taylor utilizes the different offensive weapons. With A.J. Green reported to be 100% healthy, the Bengals should have essentially the same weapons as last year prior to injuries. This offense does have many fantasy relevant players, but a lot of questions still remain. Can Tyler Boyd be a quality fantasy option with a healthy A.J. Green? Luckily for fantasy owners, both of these players are low-risk at their current ADP. Green, a receiver with top-six potential, is currently going as the WR14 and Boyd is going as the WR27.

Running Game

RB: Joe Mixon, Giovani Bernard, Trayveon Williams
2018 OL Run Rank: 22nd

The expectation heading into this season is that Joe Mixon will be the work horse back in Cincinnati. He is one of the few young running backs with real top-five fantasy running back potential. In the past, Giovani Bernard has had a decent role in the Bengals offense. However, recent reports anticipate Bernard to get more touches this season. Mixon currently has an ADP of RB10, while Bernard is an intriguing sleeper, at RB61.
