Jonathon Brooks Highlights

Jonathon Brooks Scouting Report

Strengths

One thing that will really intrigue teams is that he has a ton of football ahead of him. Jonathon Brooks is only 20 and he carried the ball only 238 times in college. He has great acceleration, which should help him get on the edge in the NFL. Brooks is an instinctual player that makes it look natural and easy. He has good awareness and hands, and he can create with the ball in his hands.

Weaknesses

Of course, the big knock is that Brooks tore his ACL back in November, so team doctors will have a look at that. There are some technique and experience issues that will come the more he plays, but there will be some negative or “nothing plays early in his career.

What to Expect From Jonathon Brooks in 2024

Jonathon Brooks is a great talent at the running back position, and we should expect him to contribute a lot in his rookie year. Yes, he is coming off of an injury, but there is no reason to believe he won’t be ready for the season. Brooks has the ability to become a three-down running back, making him a great weapon for the Carolina Panthers and fantasy football owners alike. However, he may be in a bit of a committee early in 2024.
