They rely on depth scoring, with seven players averaging at least nine points per game.
As for Duquesne, they rely on a stifling defense and slowing the game down to grind out wins. As previously mentioned, they rank 28th nationally in defense according to KenPom and force turnovers on 19.5% of opponents’ possessions. Offensively, Dae Dae Grant and Jimmy Clark shoulder much of the scoring load, averaging 16.7 and 15.1 points per game, respectively.
Although the Dukes had an impressive run in the A10 tournament, an 11-seed seems a bit generous for the team.
