Bryce Young Draft Profile
Strengths
Playing in a pro-style offense at Alabama, Bryce Young showed poise and precision throughout his college career. The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner plays with a high football IQ. Young succeeds in sensing pressure in the pocket and has shown a great ability to of scrambling out of dangerous situations. Though he doesn’t have the strongest arm of all time, Young can make close to any throw with tight accuracy in the NFL. He can hit both lob and bullet throws between defenders on any level. His speed is not fully relied on, but has been used to keep plays alive throughout his career at Alabama.
Weaknesses
The glaring and overstated weakness of Bryce Young is his size. At 5-10, 204 lbs, Young lacks the prototypical quarterback build in the NFL. As stated before, Young does not possess the strongest arm of all time. Young has also missed time this past season with a shoulder injury.
