The biggest strength for Broderick Jones is his tremendous athleticism. He was a skilled basketball player in high school as well, and it shows with how he is able to control his body. This athleticism is on full display when Jones is on the move in the running game, whether it be pulling or getting up to the second level. His hand strength is great, and Jones is a physical blocker who finishes plays.
Weaknesses
With only 19 starts under his belt, Jones isn’t overly experienced, which could be viewed as either good or bad. Of course, it will likely lead to some growing pains. His hand technique and overall mechanics are not consistent. While Jones’ aggressiveness is a big plus to his game, he can also get overaggressive to blow plays.
