Best NBA Betting Player Props for Tonight, 2/11

Goga Bitadze Over 6.5 Rebounds (+100)

Much like his season stats, the two-rebound line Goga Bitadze had in 30 minutes of action Tuesday night is irrelevant when it comes to tonight’s NBA betting handicap. Bitadze has averaged less than three boards per game so far this season. However, he has also played fewer than 12 minutes per game. After the Indiana Pacers were one of the most active teams at the trade deadline, that playing time is set to increase dramatically moving forward.

The Pacers’ deadline firesale included trading away star big man Domantas Sabonis. While Tristan Thompson was part of the return package in that deal, he is more likely to have his contract bought out than he is to see ample playing time with the Pacers. Meanwhile, Myles Turner has been ruled out through the All-Star break. Fellow center Isaiah Jackson is also questionable to play tonight with a concussion. The door has swung wide open for Bitadze to make a massive impact. Bettors can capitalize on the situation with a plus-money NBA player props wager tonight.

Nikola Jokic Under 9.5 Assists (-140)

Nikola Jokic is a legitimate triple-double threat on a nightly basis. However, the one stat category that lags behind in terms of season averages is his assists. Coming into Friday’s matchup, the Joker has dished out an average of 7.9 helpers per game. Even with starting point guard Monte Morris set to miss tonight’s game, Jokic will be hard-pressed to record the double-digit assists necessary to top the NBA player props line of 9.5.

The key element to consider for this handicap is the defense of the opposition. The Celtics rank second in defensive efficiency this season, allowing all of 103.0 points per 100 possessions. It figures be an uphill battle for Jokic and all Nuggets players on the offensive end tonight. Given the difficult defensive matchup, it will be difficult for the reigning league MVP to eclipse his season average, let alone the lofty NBA props total.

Devin Vassell Under 4.5 Rebounds (-105)

After the San Antonio Spurs shockingly elected to trade away Derrick White at the deadline, all signs point towards second-year pro, Devin Vassell playing a larger role with increased regularity the rest of the season. With that being said, his minutes figure to predominantly come at shooting guard. As a result, Vassell may not have a tremendous impact on the glass. With questions as to just how the Spurs will handle their new rotation ahead of tonight’s game, it certainly is worth looking to play under the NBA player props line of 4.5 boards for Vassell.

Coming into Friday’s contest, Vassell has averaged only 4.3 rebounds per game this season. Thus, he would need to outperform that mark by at least 0.7 boards to go over the NBA betting total. Given that the Spurs face a solid rebounding opponent tonight in the Atlanta Hawks, it will be even tougher for a guard like Vassell to have a demonstrative impact.
