With many players having already been signed on NFL Free Agency, it’s natural to ask who is left? With players like JuJu Smith-Schuster, Will Fuller and Kenny Golladay already signing to teams, these are the three best free agent wide receivers still available.
Best Free Agent WRs Still Available
Tim Patrick
One of the most underappreciated gems of the 2020 NFL season was Denver Broncos receiver Tim Patrick. He was always a lock for three receptions and 35 or more receiving yards a game. While that doesn’t sound like much, he also had six touchdown receptions, all while playing as a secondary and even a tertiary option at times in the Denver offense. Anyone who can even look good with Drew Lock as a quarterback deserves respect.
Antonio Brown
Talent-wise, Antonio Brown likely tops the list without question. However, with a questionable history to say the least, he was far from the top free agent wide receiver this offseason. He is still only 32 and can definitely produce. Down the stretch, he became Tom Brady’s most trusted receiver. That alone speaks volumes. Somebody is going to take a risk, who’s it going to be?
John Brown
The injury bug got the best of John Brown this past season, as he missed seven games. He is just one season removed from a 1,000-yard campaign. If he can stay healthy, Brown is still a legitimate receiving threat. He has only crossed 800 yards in two of his seven seasons, but a combination of injuries and poor quarterback play have more to do with that than his lack of ability. If he can stay healthy and find himself a good quarterback, he should be a very good second option in virtually all passing attacks.
