Kyler Gordon Draft Profile
Strengths
Kyler Gordon brings strength and explosiveness that is coveted by every cornerback. He loves to hit hard and has caused multiple fumbles as a result. He has a great combination of size and speed and has fluid movements and footwork. Is good at making a break on the ball which can result in a lot of jumped routes or pass breakups at the very least.
Weaknesses
One of the problems with being an aggressive hitter is that Gordon can often miss tackles after the catch. He can also lack the patience needed to latch on in the NFL and seems to be in “go mode” a little too often. Gordon still has to work on some of the more technical aspects of the game which is to be expected from a guy who only saw heavy usage in two seasons in a weak conference.
