Projected Win Total

The Ravens over/under currently sits at 8.0, after they went 10-6 last season. After losing key members of the defense, it seems like this team is chalked up for a regression season. However, Baltimore added weapons on the offensive side of the ball, in Marquise Brown and Mark Ingram to go along with tons of sophomore weapons in Jackson, Hurst and Andrews. The Ravens are a hard team to predict this year.

Strength of Schedule

Passing Game

QB: Lamar Jackson, Robert Griffin

As mentioned above, this passing attack is going to be hard to evaluate for the 2019 season. I think most can agree that we have no clue who will be the starters, and that is shown with the current ADPs of these pass catchers. The wide receiver with the highest ADP in PPR drafts is “Hollywood” Brown, at WR58, and this is most likely due to his upside shown in college. Besides Brown, the other five receivers will be battling it out for starting spots. But with Lamar Jackson under center, none of these players will have much value.

However, at the tight end position, I do really like one player and that is Mark Andrews. Currently being drafted at TE23, Andrews provides tremendous value, as he put up solid numbers when Jackson was the quarterback last year.

Running Game

RB: Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, Justice Hill

The ground game is where this team thrives. However, these is some caution when drafting out of this group for the 2019 fantasy season. At an ADP of RB23, Mark Ingram is being valued highly. He carries risk due to the fact that this is a crowded backfield with a rush first, pass second quarterback. While Ingram may be overvalued, Justice Hill is the opposite. Currently being drafted at RB55, you can take Hill for free at the end of the draft with hopes that he will sustain a solid “Austin Ekeler” like role on this team. The Ravens will run the ball more than any other this season. The question will ultimately be who gets the most carries in this backfield, with the quarterback being the most dangerous threat.
