It was quite a disappointing season for the Baltimore Ravens. A team that was near the top of the list of best odds to win the Super Bowl ended with the 14th pick of the draft, after poor play to start the season, as well as major injuries, including to Lamar Jackson. While Baltimore still has a roster on paper, they are moving through a new head coach and seem a little less of a sure thing than in years past. Even though this is the case, with the 14th pick in this year’s draft, the Ravens have a great opportunity to add a key piece to their current regime.

Coming into the 2026 NFL Draft, the Ravens do have a couple of holes that they need to fill. In what seems like a case of history repeating itself, wide receiver and tight end are needs for the Ravens. Adding to needing weapons, Baltimore needs to find a player to replace the loss of Tyler Linderbaum. On the defensive side of the ball, the Ravens could use some help on the edge, as well as at linebacker. With the 14th pick, the Baltimore Ravens draft targets and strategy are going to be ones to monitor closely, as they still employ one of the better rosters in the entire league.

Baltimore Ravens Draft Targets at No. 14

Makai Lemon, WR, USC

While Makai Lemon is probably not going to be a one-on-one, jump-ball receiver, he will carve out a nice role in the NFL as a slot receiver who can work the middle of the field. Mark Andrews is still in Baltimore to work the middle of the field, but he is not getting any younger. The benefit of bringing Lemon in is obviously giving Lamar Jackson another weapon, as well as helping to keep eyes off of Derrick Henry and the run game.

As far as a player, he is sure-handed (something that has plagued the Ravens in the past) and has shown a great ability to create separation on routes, creating easy passes for the quarterback. Without a superstar receiver on the team, Lemon will have as great an opportunity as any rookie in the league to immediately make an impact.

Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn

Center is the obvious pick for the Ravens in the first round, but without a strong option, Keldric Faulk is certainly an option here. While edge is not the biggest need for the Ravens, given positional value, the pick makes a lot of sense. Even though Baltimore brought Trey Hendrickson in the offseason, bringing Faulk in immediately gives them a future at the position. Given the Ravens have Hendrickson, as well as Nnamdi Madubuike, Faulk will have the luxury of starting as a rotational piece as opposed to being pushed into a big spot too quickly.

With Jesse Minter leading the ship now, having a 6-6, 285-pound edge rusher available might be way too tempting to pass up, especially in a rivalry with Cincinnati, where Joe Burrow has played his best football against Baltimore.

CJ Allen, LB, Georgia

What would an NFL Draft be without a Georgia linebacker going in the first round? The 2026 version of that player is CJ Allen. At 6-1, 230 pounds, Allen will work as a prototypical linebacker who possesses great football IQ. While his athletic tools don’t project to be any more than what he already has, his ability to call defensive plays, as well as work sideline to sideline, is way too valuable to pass up. Roquan Smith is still one of the better linebackers in the league, but at 29 years old, Baltimore might start to think about the future of the position.

Drafting Allen gives the Ravens the luxury of having him learn under Smith and eventually taking over at the position. We saw what Smith has done at linebacker for the Ravens, so trying to parlay that into the future might be worth the premium that it will take to get Allen.
