I am a simple Wisconsin man: I love beer and sports. I decided to create FlurrySports because I was sick of the politics and non-stories that the fat cat corporations put out. When you see football articles from me, just know that I combine my knowledge from playing, coaching, athletic training, and sports management/economic courses to give you a unique, but I feel well-rounded point of view. I am always down to talk about anything, so follow me on Twitter @FantasyFlurry if you decide you want more of me!

**UPDATED 10/28** Teams on Bye: Packers, Giants, Cardinals, Rams, Titans, Jaguars We are almost at the mid-point of the NFL regular season, which means we are halfway through the fantasy football season! Sad, but true. We are now at the point where the focus begins to be on the playoffs. If you’re sitting pretty atop the league at 7-0 or 6-1, you may want to check out who your players face in the fantasy playoffs. You do not want to get there and lose to the last team in because Alshon Jeffery is playing at Seattle, for example. If you’re…

This is the most dreaded week in fantasy football because of all the teams on bye. Those teams, of course, are the Packers, Giants, Cardinals, Rams, Titans and Jaguars. Looking at this group, the biggest hit we will take is at the running back position. We will be without Jones, Peterson, Gurley, Murray and Fournette. Throw in a suspended Marshawn Lynch, and making the correct waiver claims becomes even more stressful! Let’s jump right into it and see if we can find some gems to win you the championship! I will be giving you some suggestions of players you should…

More injuries, more bye weeks. If there’s one positive thing I can say about the 2017-18 NFL season, it’s that it’s unpredictable. Every game is seemingly a coin flip. At this point in the season, we’re usually talking about which of the remaining unbeaten teams will lose first. This season, there’s only one team left that has only one loss. This team, surprisingly, is the Eagles! I was optimistic about this team heading into the season because of my love for Carson Wentz, but I didn’t even pick them to win the division. I picked the Giants, which…is looking unlikely.…

**Updated 10/22** Teams on Bye: Lions and Texans I think I ranted enough about injuries, especially the loss of Aaron Rodgers, in this week’s Add/Drop, so I’ll give it a break. There’s nothing witty or charming about this introduction, let’s just get to it! I’m all business this week. I’ll continue to update my rankings throughout the week, as news breaks and TNF finishes, so continue to check back. Bookmark the page if you need to, because these are the only PPR fantasy football rankings you need for week 7. **TNF Players Removed** **You can sort my rankings by position…

I haven’t been able to figure out if this NFL season has been amazing or terrible with the week-to-week craziness. Up until this week, I’ve been leaning towards great. Sure, it means we need to work a bit harder in fantasy and luck is more evident than ever before. But as a fan of football, having no clear Super Bowl favorite will make the second half of the season that much more exciting. Like I said before, those were my feelings up until this week. Those who know me are aware I am a fan of the Packers. On Sunday,…

Not that we wanted to play Odell Beckham Jr. or Brandon Marshall against Denver this week, but I would have liked the option to! Yes, injuries continue to pile up quickly. What else is new? We also have the Seahawks, Cowboys, Bengals, and Bills on bye this week. Those teams feature a few really solid running backs and wide receivers that we’ll miss this week. The absence of all of these studs make paying up for the high performers even more appealing this week. To do so, we’ll need to find some value elsewhere. That is exactly what I’m looking…

**Updated 10/15** Teams on Bye: Bills, Bengals, Cowboys, Seahawks Many fantasy owners are scrambling this week, after the injuries to the Giants receivers and four more teams on bye. If you’re the one in a panic, check out my Add/Drop article for week six. There’s some great “add” options for both the long term and as bye week fill-ins. If you see others in your league panicking, now may be a great time to offer them a trade! Use their distress to your advantage. Luckily, this week seems pretty straightforward for fantasy. There’s some obvious matchups we’ll look to exploit,…
