I am a simple Wisconsin man: I love beer and sports. I decided to create FlurrySports because I was sick of the politics and non-stories that the fat cat corporations put out. When you see football articles from me, just know that I combine my knowledge from playing, coaching, athletic training, and sports management/economic courses to give you a unique, but I feel well-rounded point of view. I am always down to talk about anything, so follow me on Twitter @FantasyFlurry if you decide you want more of me!

With the lack of talent brought in and the struggles of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard has clearly solidified himself as the WR2 for Aaron Rodgers. However, a core muscle injury caused him to miss some games. The same injury is going to keep him on a snap count against the Detroit Lions in Week 14, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Allen Lazard Injury During a career game, when Lazard caught six passes for 146 yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints, he suffered a core muscle injury. This injury led to surgical…

The fantasy football playoffs are among us, so every move matters more than ever. Unfortunately, injuries and COVID news is going to complicate things for many of us this week. One of the biggest examples will be the Antonio Gibson injury. NFL Thanksgiving football! There’s something about being bloated with turkey and pie while being surrounded by loud family and watching football that makes me…well…thankful. NFL Thanksgiving is better than NBA Christmas, better than New Year’s college football and it’s way better than Earth Day NHL. Okay, I’m not totally sure that the last one is a thing, but if it is, it sucks. We have two games on schedule for Thursday (with Ravens-Steelers postponed): Texans at Lions and Washington at Cowboys. Just because I think it’s interesting, here’s the complete standings of teams’ Thanksgiving game records: Ah yes, another list…

The 2020 NBA Draft occurred last week, and the Charlotte Hornets selected LaMelo Ball at third overall. As you would expect, this re-ignited the former narrative of Michael Jordan and LaVar Ball playing a game of one-on-one. In hilarious fashion, Bovada Sportsbook has betting odds up, and Ball has better odds to win than you would think. Michael Jordan vs LaVar Ball Odds To Win Game of 1-on-1Michael Jordan: (-165) | LaVar Ball: (+125) Back in 2017, at the height of Ball’s insanity, he went on First Take and argued that he would be Jordan in one-on-one. This was the…

Taysom Hill fantasy owners will be getting a little bit lucky, as the New Orleans Saints named the gadget player as the starting quarterback over Jameis Winston for Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons. With Hill’s contract about to spike next season (over $16M cap hit), it looks like the Saints want to see if they have any future with Hill as a passer. Taysom Hill Fantasy Outlook With a matchup against the Falcons, who surrender the most fantasy points to quarterbacks in the league (26.0), Hill becomes an interesting start in fantasy this week. Hill has attempted just 18…
