Week 3 of the NFL season presents us with many interesting, but difficult matchups to predict. If you want to get some skin in the game without betting on winners, playing NFL DFS may be the best way to go.

If you’re looking for an option that combines the fantasy football concepts of NFL DFS and player props found at sportsbooks, then PrizePicks may be the perfect option for you. They offer many props to pick this weekend, including an interesting Austin Ekeler fantasy football prop.

PrizePicks Payout Breakdown

At PrizePicks, users string together NFL DFS player props into a parlay up to five legs. These picks can be in a single stat or picking over/under fantasy football points using PPR scoring. After forming a parlay, users can select to play it using Flex Play or Power Play.

Flex Play Payout

For Flex Play, users can build a parlay up to five legs and still be paid out if one or more of their picks is incorrect. Of course, less risk means less reward, so the payout is lower:

  • 2 Leg Parlay: 2 Correct = 2x Entry, 1 Correct = 0.5x
  • 3 Leg Parlay: 3 Correct = 2.25x, 2 Correct = 1.25x
  • 4 Leg Parlay: 4 Correct = 5x, 3 Correct = 1.5x
  • 5 Leg Parlay: 5 Correct = 10x, 4 Correct = 2x, 3 Correct = 0.4x

Power Play Payout

Power Play is much like a parlay at a sportsbook, where it is all or nothing. Since the risk is higher, the payout is as well.

  • 2 Leg Parlay: 3x Entry Fee
  • 3 Leg Parlay: 5x Entry Fee
  • 4 Leg Parlay: 10x Entry Fee

Austin Ekeler Fantasy Pick: Over 55.5 Rushing Yards | NFL DFS PrizePicks Props

It doesn’t take a genius to understand the Los Angeles Chargers abandoned the run too soon last week in their three-point loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Austin Ekeler carried the ball nine times for 54 yards after he totaled 15 carries in Week 1.

Facing the Kansas City Chiefs, look for the Chargers to run the ball early and often, hoping to go on long scoring drives and keep the Kansas City offense off the field. This is also attacking a weakness for the Chiefs.

Kansas City has surrendered the most yards per rushing attempt in the league, at 6.0. Yes, Lamar Jackson is a big reason for this. However, the Chiefs still give up 5.65 yards per attempt to running backs so far this season, which Ekeler should be able to exploit. All he needs is the opportunity, and this is the most obvious game plan to be the Chiefs in their house.
