Abraham Lucas Draft Profile and Scouting Report

Strengths

Coming from an air aid offense, Abraham Lucas is battle-tested as a pass protector. With many teams in the NFL running a pass-happy offense, this will make him an intriguing prospect. Lucas has the perfect build for an NFL offensive tackle, having the size, length and frame to play immediately. He is extremely light on his feet despite his size, and he has elite-level mirroring skills on the edge.

Weaknesses

Lucas has the tendency to let his hands get a bit wide, giving defenders a clear shot to his pads. He is less tested as a run blocker, though there isn’t anything that suggests he will fail in this area. Lucas could add a bit more strength and power to his lower body.
