UCF cornerback Aaron Robinson has certainly taken an interesting path to get to the precipice of realizing his NFL dream come true. He first committed to be a Florida Gator before flipping his commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide. After a season of being a reserve corner and special teams player, he decided to transfer to the University of Central Florida. He was hurt on the opening kickoff, which caused him to miss multiple weeks in his sophomore season. Since then, however, he’s been a staple in this Golden Knights defense. So, what kind of player is Robinson and how can we expect him to fare in the NFL?
Here’s Aaron Robinson’s NFL Draft profile, along with his stats, highlights and current projections.

Aaron Robinson Draft Profile
Strengths
One of the reasons Aaron Robinson was highly recruited out of high school was because of his physical attributes. He has the agility and quick burst to stay with anyone and is extremely quick. He’s able to navigate around coverage without running into traffic and can easily stick with receivers on virtually every route. He’s shown strides in the past two seasons in his improvement as a tackler. No place can that be seen more than his ability to play a big role in the running game and get off of receiver blocks. He will punch you in the mouth and knows when to go for the legs or wrap up on tackles.
Weaknesses
Although Robinson has incredible physical gifts, unfortunately at times it shows that he relies on them too much. He often bites hard on pump fakes. He also often over runs routes which allows for opposing receivers to box him out on comeback or curl routes. His history of falling for quarterback fakes and overrunning routes leads to more busted coverages than he should have. His value as a nickel corner is unquestioned but can he be a good option as a primary or secondary option?
