Aaron Henry Highlights
Aaron Henry Draft Profile
Strengths
While his offensive game is still a bit raw, Aaron Henry did display solid ball-handling abilities in college. He has the handles to get past closeout defenders. Once inside the key, a variety of floaters and pull-ups make Henry a creative mid-range scorer. As a defender, he makes the most of his long, sturdy frame. He is versatile on the ball with the strength to switch onto bigs when needed. His fundamentals translate well off the ball as well.
Weaknesses
While some analysts project Henry as a “3 and D” player at the NBA level, his shooting certainly needs improvement. In fact, he showed little to no consistency from beyond the arc whatsoever in college. Three-point shooting figures to be paramount to Henry finding success offensively at the next level. In addition, his tendency to overdribble and make poor reads as a passer can lead to turnovers.
