Week 13 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em QB analysis from FlurrySports includes Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow.

If you are looking at your fantasy football team this week and you have some questions on who to start, don’t worry, because I have some valuable advice. The following article details two must-start quarterbacks and two must-sit quarterbacks for the week. With every team playing this week, there are many different directions that you can go this week when looking at building your lineup this week, especially at the quarterback position.

The elite quarterbacks, like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, will not be mentioned. Yes, start them. Who do they play? Doesn’t matter. Instead, we will be talking about the players who may be on the borderline of that starting lineup threshold. These are the players that you are debating on starting, or are sitting as QB2s on your bench. So, depending on the matchup, they could be a start or a sit. Make sense?

Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 13 QBs

Start: Joe Burrow Fantasy Outlook vs Baltimore Ravens

After hurting his toe in Week 2 of the season, Joe Burrow is finally back this week, and what better time to come back than against the Baltimore Ravens? Obviously, the division rival aspect has to do with the hype, but seeing how Burrow has played in the past against the Ravens should excite all of the fantasy managers who have held on to him this long. Over his nine games played against the Ravens, Burrow is averaging 300 passing yards and just over two touchdowns. Just last season, Burrow combined for 820 passing yards and nine touchdown passes. Clearly, he is a “start” in our Week 13 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.

While the Ravens have been better against the pass as of late, you did not hold on to Burrow this long to not start him as soon as you could. With Kyle Hamilton’s injury possibly playing a factor in him being limited, the Ravens defense takes that much more of a hit. On the season, the Ravens are giving up 18.5 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. That includes 2,663 passing yards and 16 passing touchdowns.

Start: Bo Nix Fantasy Outlook vs Washington Commanders

It is no secret that the Denver Broncos have been up and down, given their great record this season. It almost feels like you are throwing a dart at the board on whether Bo Nix is going to give you a good week in fantasy football or not. This week, I am taking the shot that Nix registers a startable week for your team. With how much hate Nix has been getting this week, he is still sitting at QB10 on the season. With the exception of JK Dobbins, the Broncos’ offense is relatively healthy, giving Nix his full arsenal of weapons.

I am taking the shot on Nix this week due to that incredible matchup against the Washington Commanders. Washington continues to be one of the worst teams against opposing passers when it comes to both fantasy and real-life football. On the season, the Commanders are giving up 23.1 fantasy points per game to opposing passers. As a whole, Washington has given up 2,908 passing yards and 22 passing touchdowns. On top of all of this, Washington has been struggling to get after the quarterback, giving Nix that much more time to find his receivers.

Sit: Daniel Jones Fantasy Outlook vs Houston Texans

Daniel Jones has been the darling of the season, as he has become the latest veteran quarterback to succeed in a new spot in the NFL. The issue, though, is that he has not totally stayed consistent with that early-season magic, as he has not finished higher than QB13 in any of the past three weeks. He has not totaled more than 17 fantasy points in any of those three weeks. To add those to those three weeks, Jones has thrown as many touchdowns as interceptions, with four apiece. The Colts’ run game has been the focal point of the offense and will continue to be so moving forward.

Jones’ struggles will continue this week as they play one of the toughest defenses in the NFL this season — the Houston Texans. We saw last week that Will Anderson and company absolutely shut down Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense. On the season, the Texans’ defense is giving up just 12.5 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. They have only given up 2,153 passing yards and just ten touchdowns this season. The defense is just way too terrifying to bank on starting a quarterback against moving forward this season.

Sit: Caleb Williams Fantasy Outlook vs Philadelphia Eagles

Caleb Williams has been featured in this article a lot this season, but mostly on the “start” side of the Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em. The issue with Williams’ season, though, is that the good games have come against bad passing defenses this season and the bad games have come against the good passing defenses, which I guess in theory makes sense. Now, having to go to Philadelphia, Williams will have a hiccup this week, not necessarily due to his skill, but how well the Eagles defense has played this season.

The matchup looks bad for Williams this week as the Eagles are giving up just 17.6 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. That comes out to 2,588 passing yards and just 11 passing touchdowns this season. While the pass defense has been great, they have been just as good at rushing the passer. In a hostile environment in Philadelphia with high expectations given how the Bears have performed this season, Williams is in line for a letdown spot, and I would rather wait to see how he can handle it before I rely on him.
