Some of the most memorable moments in football history have come by way of the Super Bowl. We have seen all-time legendary performances, as well as all-time stinkers. With how popular fantasy football and daily fantasy have become over the last decade, many are looking at who are the best NFL DFS picks for Super Bowl LIX.

5. Jerry Rice, San Francisco 49ers (39.8 Points)
What is this list of Super Bowl fantasy football performances if it doesn’t include the greatest wide receiver in NFL history? In the biggest blowout in Super Bowl history, the San Francisco 49ers destroyed the Denver Broncos by a score of 55-10. With how much of a superstar Jerry Rice is, he was a big reason why the 49ers came away with 55 points. Rice accounted for 148 receiving yards on seven receptions, as well as three touchdowns. While this performance is a lifetime performance for anyone else, it is not even Rice’s best performance in his Super Bowl career.
4. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles (41.2 Points)
The most recent performance on the list comes by way of the Jalen Hurts, who is looking for revenge this weekend. Given his style of play, Hurts is always at risk for putting together incredible fantasy performances. With his superstar run in 2023, Hurts is looking to put together another huge performance to will the Eagles to victory.
In Super Bowl LVII, Hurts put together a lifetime performance, passing for 304 passing yards and one touchdown. On top of his big day through the air, Hurts rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns. In order for the Eagles to beat the Chiefs this season, Hurts may need to have another 40+ point fantasy day.

3. Steve Young, San Francisco 49ers (41.9 Points)
In one of the biggest blowouts in Super Bowl history, Hall of Famer Steve Young put together his greatest performance of his career. The San Francisco 49ers made a mad march to the Super Bowl and were matched up with the San Diego Chargers, who on their own merit put together a great season. Young’s performance came by way of his arm, as the lefty threw for 325 yards and six touchdown passes. He added another 49 yards on the ground. Not only was Young’s six touchdown passes a Super Bowl record for most in NFL history, but it is ranked tied for the second most touchdown passes in a single game.
2. Jerry Rice, San Francisco 49ers (43.9 Points)
Jerry Rice makes his second appearance on the Super Bowl fantasy football performances list with the greatest performance of his career, given the magnitude of the game. This is the second appearance by a San Francisco 49er against the San Diego Chargers on this list as well. Rice accounted for 10 rushing yards, 10 receptions for 149 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns. Although he was not awarded with the MVP, given Steve Young’s performance, Rice’s performance is marked as the second-best performance in Super Bowl history that did not result in an MVP award.
1. James White, New England Patriots (47.9 Points)
The biggest Super Bowl fantasy football performance in NFL history came from one of the most surprising sources. In the New England Patriots’ furious comeback against the Atlanta Falcons during Super Bowl LI, running back James White led the team. White accounted for 29 rushing yards, two touchdown rushes, 11 receptions for 110 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown and a two-point conversion.
Even though White had the greatest performance in Super Bowl history, Tom Brady was awarded with the Super Bowl MVP. Outside of Boston and Wisconsin, the only thing people will remember about White from that game is his game-winning touchdown.
