Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 10 WRs
Start: Brian Thomas Jr. Fantasy Outlook vs Minnesota Vikings
The rookie from LSU will find his way to be a start this week. Brian Thomas Jr. has been a fantastic play in fantasy football this year. Thomas has scored double-digits in all but three games this season, and he currently ranks as WR11. He has been a bright spot on an otherwise very bad Jacksonville Jaguars team.
On the defensive side of the ball is the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have given up the most points to WRs. Thomas has lined up on the perimeter 75% of the time where Minnesota gives up the seventh-most points. Brian Thomas Jr. will look to get the ball and score some points for your lineup against the Minnesota defense, making him a “start” in our Week 10 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.
Start: Deebo Samuel Sr Fantasy Outlook vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Wideback makes an appearance in the “start” section of the Week 10 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article. Deebo Samuel and the San Francisco 49ers are coming off the bye helping some players heal up from injuries. This should help Samuel, as the Buccaneers won’t be able to use all the resources to cover him.
Tampa Bay is coming off of an OT loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. A short week with extra football being played by the defense is not going to help the recovery for Tampa. The Bucs have also given up the sixth-most fantasy points to WRs so far this season. Samuel and the rest of the SF WRs move around a bunch so they will move from perimeter to slot a lot. Start Deebo this week in your lineups.

Sit: Josh Downs Fantasy Outlook vs Buffalo Bills
Josh Downs has been a great WR since being activated in Week 3. This week, he may not be. Downs has scored over 12 points in each of his games, except two, ranking as the WR25 despite not playing in the first two weeks. This week, he will have to do a lot more to keep that up.
The Indianapolis Colts host the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. The Bills have given up the sixth-fewest points to WRs so far this season. Buffalo has given up an average of 26.94 points to WRs (teams as a whole not individually.) Despite Joe Flacco starting, Downs can be left on your bench.
Sit: DeAndre Hopkins Fantasy Outlook vs Denver Broncos
Coming off of a hot game on Monday Night Football, DeAndre Hopkins will not be able to duplicate that this week. Hopkins currently is WR58 on the year, and those of you that have him know how much he hasn’t done. On MNF he was able to go off to the tune of 28.6 points against the Tampa Bay defense. Coming off a short week the defense he faces this week will be no help.
We have said it before and will continue to say it: don’t start guys who will have to line up across from Patrick Surtain II. Hopkins figures to lineup against Surtain about two-thirds of the time they are both on the field. Surtain will for sure be able to cover Hopkins and prove why he is the best corner in the NFL, bench Hopkins.
