Injuries continue to stack up for the wide receiver position, leading to many fantasy owners needing to shuffle their lineups. You can also add in the fact that many receivers are getting traded, and there are others who will be off on their bye week. Clearly, you may need to hit the fantasy waiver wire looking for some fantasy football Week 9 WR streamers to start and try to win your matchup this week.

Pick the right fantasy football streamer option to get the win this week and continue down the path of fantasy greatness, which ends with you hoisting your league’s trophy, championship belt or champ chain.

Fantasy Football Week 9 WR Streamers

Gabe Davis Fantasy Outlook (29.6%)

Last week was a bit of a disaster for the Jacksonville Jaguars. They’re used to losing, but they’re not used to losing receivers left and right. Gabe Davis, Brian Thomas Jr. and Christian Kirk all left the game. Kirk was lost for the season. Coach Doug Pederson suggested optimism for both Davis and BTJ to play this week, though Davis is the more likely one to be active. Even if the rookie is back in the lineup, Gabe Davis fantasy owners should enjoy him moving up the totem pole.

Davis faces a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has been average against fantasy receivers this season. The Eagles should be able to move the ball, so we should assume Jacksonville will be trailing and need to throw the ball. The game script, plus the growing role, make Gabe Davis a Week 9 fantasy football streamers option to look at.

Cedric Tillman Fantasy Outlook (36.9%)

I said multiple times last week that I needed to see Cedric Tillman have a consistent role two weeks in a row, but he did seem like the type of receiver that Jameis Winston loves. Well, Winston does love the second-year receiver, and his role on the Cleveland Browns without Amari Cooper also appears to be one we can trust for fantasy football.

Over the past two weeks, Tillman has seen 21 targets which equates to a 21.6% target share. He also has seen 286 air yards in these games. Jameis Winston loves to push the ball downfield, and it appears that Tillman is going to be his favorite target when doing so. The matchup against the Chargers doesn’t look great, and it’s not, but Tillman is still in a good enough situation to be a streaming option for Week 9 of the fantasy football season.

Jalen McMillan Fantasy Outlook (37.9%)

With both Mike Evans and Chis Godwin out, no Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver’s role grew more than Jalen McMillan. Sure, Cade Otton’s fantasy performance dominated the headlines during National TE Day, however, we shouldn’t sleep on the third-round rookie.

McMillan received a career-high eight targets in Week 7, then he followed it up with seven targets last season. While he turned those seven targets into only four catches for 35 yards, there were a couple of miss-throws that could have resulted in a big day. So, like the other two players above, Jalen McMillan has the chance to be much more than a Week 9 fantasy football streamer option.
