The NFL season has surprised many people, leading us into fantasy football Week 6. There are more teams on byes this week — the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings. You will need to bench Travis Kelce and find a replacement for him this week. This may lead to some difficult fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em decisions.

The other thing we need to look at besides byes are the injuries. Some TE1s are on the injury report heading into the start of the week. Will you need to find a replacement or figure out if you need to sit them? That is where we at FlurrySports are here to help. Below you will find our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em for the TE position! Of course, we also have the top-ranked fantasy football rankings as well, according to FantasyPros!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 6 TEs

Start: Kyle Pitts Fantasy Outlook vs Carolina Panthers

The most frustrating TE to play in fantasy gets put on the right side of this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article for Week 6. Kyle Pitts Went from a goose egg in Week 4 to 15+ in Week 5 in a monster game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This week, he will face another NFC South opponent who is a bottom-five team.

This week, the Atlanta Falcons travel north to play the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have given up the fifth-most points to TEs so far this season. They have done decently against TEs the past couple of weeks, but if Pitts can use his WR skills, then he should be able to put some points on the board for you.

Start: Zach Ertz Fantasy Outlook vs Baltimore Ravens

The 33-year-old father of three will join Pitts in the start side of this fantasy football article. Zach Ertz should be a starter on your team this weekend. Ertz is a sure-handed TE play that can help rookie QB Jayden Daniels out. Ertz only had two receptions for 10 yards last week, but this week he plays a much better AFC North team than the Browns.

The Washington Commanders will play fellow DMV (DC/ Maryland/Virginia) team in the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens have given up the sixth-most fantasy points to TEs this year. While the last two weeks have been better, Baltimore will get to Daniels and Ertz will be his safety valve. Ertz is a safe play this week.

Sit: Tyler Conklin Fantasy Outlook vs Buffalo Bills

The New York Jets TE should be a sit this week on your team. Last week, we said to start Tyler Conklin against the Minnesota Vikings, but things have changed. For one, Robert Saleh has been fired and we don’t know the full changes of the personnel that are coming.

The other side of the ball is the Buffalo Bills. The Bills defense has done a good job of stopping opposing TEs. The only TE who has gone over 10 points is Jonnu Smith who had six receptions. Since Week 2, The Bills have given up an average of 6.7 fantasy points per game to the TE position. Conklin is on the wrong side of the Week 6 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article here.

Sit: Dalton Kincaid Fantasy Outlook vs New York Jets

The younger of the Buffalo Bills DK Bros should not be in your starting lineup this week (neither should Knox). Dalton Kincaid was getting a lot of hype in the offseason this year and, other than Weeks 3 and 4, he has been disappointing. The TE12 through the first five weeks of the season was a preseason top-five guy.

On the other side of the ball is the New York Jets’ defense. The Jets have allowed the third-fewest points to TEs so far this season. No TE scored more than eight points this season against the Jets, and they have yet to allow a touchdown to the position this year. Do not trust Kincaid this week on MNF.
