The wait is finally over! LeBron James made it official and signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. The contract is four-year deal worth $154M.

This move obviously has implications around the league. While many knew the King was going to depart from Cleveland, fans across the league believed he was bound for their city. Fortunately for Laker fans, LeBron will follow as the next all-time great player to play for this historic franchise.

With LeBron now in the West, it doesn’t matter who else is on his team, because the entire Western Conference will be a bloodbath. With the OK3 remaining intact, Chris Paul and James Harden attempting to run it back, and Kevin Durant returning to the Warriors for two more years the Western Conference may be the toughest either conference has ever been. And this is all without mentioning the Pelicans, Timberwolves, and Denver Nuggets who are all going to try to leave their mark and join the elite ranks of this competitive conference. Plus, the Dallas Mavericks are rumored to be closing in on a deal with DeAndre Jordan which could make them a formidable opponent on a nightly basis.

Lakers’ Next Move?

Now, we must wait and see what Kawhi Leonard’s future will be. With PG13 staying in OKC, the only hopes for LeBron to sniff a ring is if the Lakers trade for Kawhi Leonard. Another option could be to sign DeMarcus Cousins, but given the nature of his injury (ruptured achilles tendon) it is a big risk to sign him for the money he is looking for.

This is a dangerous time for the Lakers, because they need to be wise in how the spend their remaining cap space and assets in an attempt to turn the Lakers into a title contender just one year after winning just 35 games last season.

Head over to MyBookie and use the promo code FlurrySports to make guaranteed money on this easy bet. Cardinals center AQ Shipley was lost for the season with a torn ACL. This left third-round rookie Cole Mason as the only guy to be the starter. He’s locked in. The bet is simple: put as much money on Cole Mason to be the Cardinals starter week 1 under the NFL Specials tab. As you can see, it was between him and Shipley, and Shipley is now out of the equation. Happy betting!
