During this entire week, we will be releasing our 2022 fantasy football rankings. We began with fantasy rankings for QBs, and now we will go over our TE fantasy rankings for PPR scoring.

We are officially in fantasy football draft season. Now is the time to do research, figure out which players you would like to target, and decide when it is acceptable to draft them. These rankings will help you figure out which players are worth drafting.

After we release the fantasy football rankings for all positions this week, we will also post printable fantasy football rankings that you can take with you to your fantasy football draft. They will have the rankings for all positions as well as the average draft position (ADP) of each player so you know when they are typically being selected. So, make sure you come back to FlurrySports to read our fantasy football articles and print out rankings before your draft!

While you’re at it, join our new fantasy football Facebook group called Fantasy Football by Committee! Whether you are looking to receive or give fantasy football advice this season, Fantasy Football by Committee is for you. Winning your fantasy league is tough enough, so don’t do it by yourself. At FFBC, we are building a fantasy football community to help everyone win their fantasy leagues!

Okay, enough babbling, let’s take a look at the 2022 fantasy football rankings for TEs this season!

    Fantasy Football Rankings 2022: TEs

Travis Kelce has been the consensus top-ranked tight end in fantasy football draft rankings for many years now, and this season will be no different. At a position where consistency, targets and role can be questioned for most players, we know Travis Kelce will total over 1,000 yards with plenty of touchdowns, barring injury.

Mark Andrews is the only other TE that can truly be compared to Kelce, as he is also his team’s top receiving option on an offense that we can trust. We know the Ravens are going to be good, and Lamar Jackson is going to look Andrews’ way often, especially in scoring range. After Andrews, there is a large dropoff in value at the TE position, in my opinion.

Yes, Kyle Pitts should improve this season after catching only one touchdown his rookie year. However, how much of a jump can he take? In my opinion, five touchdowns may be the ceiling for Pitts in this offense. He is a great talent that should give you a high floor, which is why he is TE3 in these fantasy football rankings, but I still don’t trust the Falcons’ offense for obvious reasons.

Rounding out the top five are two tight ends who have struggled with injuries. With how hard George Kittle plays, I have zero trust in him making it through the season healthy. As for T.J. Hockenson, I think people forget how good he was prior to his injury last season. Though the first eight weeks, Hockenson was TE3 overall and TE6 on a per-game basis. If he stays healthy, he is a top-five option.

In PPR leagues, Kelce is being selected at 15.3 overall and Andrews is going 25.2. I like Kelce’s value more, but don’t have a problem with either ADP. Pitts is going 35.0 while Kittle is being taken at 42.8. At these draft positions, I wouldn’t take either TE. Hockenson is the sixth-drafted TE on average, going 64.9 overall. In drafts I have been in, Hockenson has slid even later, making him my favorite value.
