UFC Fight Night, or UFC Vegas 50, from Saturday, March 12th was an exciting fight card. Across 14 fights, we saw eight finishes on Saturday. It was capped off with the Main Event between Thiago Santos and Magomed Ankalaev. After winning by unanimous decision, many have been asking how much did Magomed Ankalaev make? Let’s take a look at the full UFC payouts from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night.

    UFC Fight Night Bonuses

Much like other events, UFC bonuses of $50,000 are given out. However, instead of a Fight of the Night and two performance bonuses, there are four performances given out for UFC Vegas 50. These bonuses are still worth $50,000 each.

Fight of the Night: Announced Shortly

This was the right move by the UFC giving this women’s flyweight fight the bonus. It was a firefight between these two women, with 279 total strikes landed. In the end, it was Priscila Cachoeira that won by unanimous decision.

Performance Bonuses: Song Yadong, Khalil Rountree Jr., Cody Brundage, Azamat Murzakanov

Song Yadong was given one of the performance bonuses tonight, and for good reason. The man has some heavy fists and he is proving to be the real deal in the bantamweight division. Tonight, Yadong wasted no time, knocking out Marlon Moraes with a sweet combination in a little over two minutes.

While Khalil Rountree Jr. was technically an underdog against Karl Roberson, you wouldn’t know it. He came out with bad intentions, landing a bunch of shots. It was a leg kick to the body in the second round that ultimately did it. After the fight, Rountree took to the mic to share his story of mental health issues, which is worth the listen for anyone who missed it.

Just to see Cody Brundage won the fight is a bit surprising if you watched the first couple of minutes. However, he caught Dalcha Lungiambula in a guillotine towards the end of the first round, getting his opponent to tap out quickly.

To stay unbeaten, Azamat Murzakanov needed a finish. He was clearly down in the fight, and he came out aggressive in the third round. A big right knee is what ended the fight and won him the UFC Vegas 50 payout of a $50,000 performance bonus.

How Much Did Magomed Ankalaev Make | Salary From UFC Vegas 50

In the main event of the night, Magomed Ankalaev had more competition than sportsbooks indicated we’d see. While Ankalaev entered the octagon as the heavy favorite against Thiago Santos, the fight went the distance and we truly didn’t know who the winner was until their hand was raised.

Santos was throwing heavy punches all fight, which led to him slowing down in the fourth round. This opened the door for Ankalaev to take him to the ground and clearly win that round. Other than that, it was a close fight that seemed to go back and forth. With a statement win like that, it makes sense why people are asking how much did Magomed Ankalaev make from his UFC payouts on Saturday.

The official answer is unclear. Since the Nevada Athletic Commission doesn’t release fighter pay info, we can only estimate based on past pay that has been publicized.

With this in mind, we can estimate Magomed Ankalaev made around $55,000 in guaranteed salary plus fight week incentives before stepping in the octagon. Because he won, his UFC payouts nearly doubled by doubling his guaranteed money as a win bonus. So, he certainly made six figures on Saturday.

Again, as always, the official numbers will not be officially known, but these UFC payouts from UFC Fight Night on Saturday are a strong estimation.
