As Week 15 begins, there are some players out with injury, which may leave your fantasy football rosters looking a little different and potentially weaker. While it’s hard to bench the fantasy studs you drafted, the option of streaming players off the waiver wire could bode well for your success in your fantasy football league. It is always a better decision to weigh your options and play the player with a much better matchup than start the same guy every week hoping for a breakout game, especially in the first round of the playoffs.
Read on for three wide receiver fantasy football streamers for Week 15. All bye weeks have been accounted for, making streaming options less of an attraction. But with injuries and COVID-related news, there could be some sneaky plays that could bring some serious upside to your fantasy team.
Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the Week 15 fantasy football WR streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.
Week 15 Fantasy Football WR Streamers
K.J Osborn, Minnesota Vikings at CHI (33.3%)
K.J. Osborn has posted solid fantasy numbers all season long for being the third or fourth option in the Vikings passing game. He has some upside this week to continue that trend. With Adam Thielen likely out again this week, Osborn will operate as the WR2. He’s seen 16 targets across the last two games and has found the end zone twice in that span, posting double-digit fantasy football numbers. Chicago currently allows 36.9 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing wide receivers. In a divisional matchup here, Osborn could make some serious noise.
Jamison Crowder, New York Jets at MIA (31.8%)
Jamison Crowder has been very quiet this season, overshadowed by Corey Davis and rookie Elijah Moore, but with both of them out, he operates as the WR1 again. It’s hard to trust Jets receivers because Zach Wilson simply hasn’t figured it out yet, but Crowder is consistent. He’s been targeted 12 times across the last two games and has posted double-digit fantasy points in two of his last four games. Miami is the third-worst defense against opposing wide receivers, surrendering over 40 FPPG to them.

Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots at IND (26.5%)
Kendrick Bourne certainly angered his fantasy managers after his Week 13 performance, posting only 0.3 fantasy points, but the Patriots threw the ball three times. In a game where the run game is the go-to system, the Patriots might have to throw the ball more this time around. The Colts have a solid run defense but a poor pass defense thus far, allowing over 36 FPPG to opposing wide receivers. It’s hard to trust Bourne now, especially in the first round of the fantasy playoffs. But if you’re in dire need of a solid streaming option that had good games before his outlier, he’s a great option.
