The final week of the fantasy football regular season is upon us. Managers everywhere will be battling for a spot in this year’s fantasy playoffs and the opportunity to pursue a league championship. Even if you need a Hail Mary in Week 14 just to get into the postseason, by no means is that reason to lose hope. After all, once you get into the playoffs, anything is possible! While the NFL was kind enough to add an extra week to the fantasy football regular season, they still managed to screw it up by having four teams on bye in Week 14. For those in need of some fantasy football streamers options at the tight end position, you have come to the right place!

Read on for three fantasy football streamers at tight end for Week 14 of the NFL season. At the end of the column, readers will also find lists containing the starting tight ends on bye this week as well as a few players who might be worth fading in difficult matchups.

Week 14 Fantasy Football TE Streamers

Ownership percentages reflect those across all Sleeper Fantasy Football leagues

Gerald Everett | Seattle Seahawks (at HOU)

    Current Ownership: 28%

Making his season debut in the fantasy football TE streamers column this week is Gerald Everett. The lead Seahawks tight end has been building a strong case over the past few weeks. While the Seahawks have largely struggled offensively prior to last Sunday’s win, Everett has become one of the more frequented targets for Russell Wilson. He has been on the field for at least 75% of the team’s offensive snaps in five straight games. In three of the four matchups since Wilson returned from IR, Everett has garnered a minimum of six targets. He has also totaled no fewer than three receptions in each of the last four weeks including four last week. Unfortunately, a pair of fumbles ruined his Week 13 fantasy football scoring output. That said, he has scored over 14 PPR points in two of Seattle’s last four games.

Out of all the TE streamers candidates on the board for Week 14, none have a better matchup than Everett. He and the Seahawks will take on a Houston Texans team that is giving up an average of 14.6 PPR points per game to opposing tight ends. After being officially eliminated from playoff contention last week, Houston only has the role of spoiler to play for. While Lovie Smith’s defense has done a decent job against opposing receivers, tight ends have been able to burn them badly. Assuming the focus centers on preventing DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett from beating them deep, Everett should have ample opportunities on short-to-intermediate routes over the middle.

Ricky Seals-Jones | Washington Football Team (at DAL)

    Current Ownership: 16%

With Logan Thomas officially being ruled out for the remainder of the season, Ricky Seals-Jones is locked into the starting tight end spot in Washington so long as he stays healthy. This puts him right back on the fantasy football streamers radar. During Thomas’ first injury absence, Seals-Jones filled in quite well. He played over 90% of Washington’s offensive snaps in five straight games. He saw no fewer than four targets during that stretch and scored 9+ PPR fantasy points in three of those contests. Given that the Football Team likes to have their lead tight end on the field in virtually all of their offensive formations, managers can expect Seals-Jones’ snap count to jump right back up to 90% or higher.

After Thomas exited last week’s game, Seals-Jones came on to haul in three of four targets for 30 yards. While his fantasy upside may not be extremely high, he carries a much more stable floor than other possible Week 14 streamers candidates. Seals-Jones and Washington face the Dallas Cowboys in a critical NFC East Division matchup on Sunday. For their part, Dallas has allowed over 14 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. They also rank bottom-five in the NFL in defensive rating against the TE position.

James O’Shaughnessy | Jacksonville Jaguars (at TEN)

    Current Ownership: 4%

Last week saw the run of Dan Arnold appearing in this fantasy football streamers column come to an end. Unfortunately, the Jaguars’ midseason trade acquisition was lost for the rest of the year to a knee injury sustained in Week 12. Fortunately for Jacksonville (and perhaps some fantasy managers as well), Arnold’s injury came the exact same week that James O’Shaugnessy returned to the lineup following an eight-game injury absence of his own. After catching three of five targets in Week 12, O’Shaughnessy led all Jaguars pass-catchers with six targets last week. While he only caught two of them, it was a bad game all around for the offense.

Owned in just 4% of fantasy football leagues entering Week 14, O’Shaughnessy is a sneaky TE streamers candidate. In deeper leagues, he might well be the best option available. Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence continues to pepper his tight ends with targets. Whether it was Arnold or O’Shaughnessy, there has been plenty of work to go around. The fact that Laquon Treadwell has emerged as a preferred wideout says a lot about the lack of weapons the Jags have on the outside. Lawrence had perhaps the best game of his rookie season in Jacksonville’s first meeting against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans enter the week with the fifth-worst defensive rating against the TE position despite allowing less than 10 fantasy points per game. O’Shaughnessy should have the chance to exploit Tennessee over the middle.

Tight Ends on Bye in Week 14

    • Jack Doyle | Indianapolis Colts
    • Mike Gesicki | Miami Dolphins
    • Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith | New England Patriots
    • Dallas Goedert | Philadelphia Eagles

Tight Ends Facing Tough Week 14 Matchups

    • Dalton Schultz | Dallas Cowboys (vs WAS)
    • Rob Gronkowski | Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs BUF)
    • Tyler Higbee | Los Angeles Rams (at ARZ)
