As Week 6 of the season wrapped up, there were plenty of players out with injury, which may leave your fantasy football rosters looking a little different and potentially weaker. While it’s hard to bench your fantasy studs you drafted before the season began, the option of streaming players off the waiver wire could bode well for your success in your fantasy football league. It is always a better decision to weigh your options and play the player with a much better matchup than start the same guy every week hoping for a breakout game.

Read on for three fantasy football wide receiver “streamer” options for Week 7. Despite having late-round ADPs or going undrafted, these players have a great chance to carve out a bigger role moving forward, especially with the number of wide receivers still dealing with injuries and are on a bye week this week like Stefon Diggs, CeeDee Lamb, Keenan Allen and Diontae Johnson.

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the Week 7 fantasy football wide receiver streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Week 7 Fantasy Football WR Streamers

Tim Patrick | Denver Broncos at CLE (42.4%)

Tim Patrick may be one of the most consistent fantasy football players with an ownership still under 50 percent. He’s been included in many past streamer articles this season, and it’s for good reason. He pulled in three of his five targets for 42 yards and a touchdown last week against the Raiders and has another very favorable matchup Thursday night against the Browns’ weak secondary. The Browns defense surrenders nearly 41 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing wide receivers this season, and with Jerry Jeudy still out, Patrick has another week of being one of the main targets in the Broncos offense. He logged 88.9 percent of snaps last week and that number should be around the same here this week.

Russell Gage | Atlanta Falcons at MIA (10.3%)

It seems that the bye week was beneficial for Russell Gage to finally heal up and hit the practice field. Gage looked promising towards the end of last season but has yet to make any sort of noise this year, but that’s more so the Falcons’ poor team performances to blame. The good news is that Gage practiced this week and faces a very bad defense against wide receivers. The Dolphins have allowed over 44 FPPG to opposing wide receivers thus far and don’t look like the dominant defense they had last season. Gage has yet to log more than 75 percent of snaps, specifically in Weeks 1 and 2 due to sitting out with injury the last few weeks. But once healthy, the upside is there for him to perform and return a sweet fantasy value to his very few fantasy managers.

Amon-Ra St. Brown | Detroit Lions at LAR (13.9%)

With plenty of injuries to the Lions wide receiving corps, the opportunity has opened up for the rookie wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown. He’s led all receivers in targets the last three weeks, but his fantasy value is very much capped off due to Jared Goff being a horrible NFL quarterback. The Lions weren’t able to generate much of anything last week, but St. Brown still caught five of his seven targets. He also logged 77.4 percent of snaps, the third-highest for Lions receivers, and still led in targets.

Despite the Rams defense normally being elite, especially the secondary, they’re surrendering nearly 40 FPPG to opposing wide receivers through six games. It’s safe to say Matthew Stafford and company won’t have any issues lighting up the Lions’ defense. The Lions will need to throw all game long and it’s bound to go St. Brown’s way, but beware of how truly bad Goff has been this season.
