Julio Jones Injury Update Boosts Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Fantasy Outlook

Heading into NFL Week 4, there are too many injury situations to try to keep track of them all. However, one of the most notable situations for fantasy football resides in Nashville. After WR A.J. Brown has been deemed “week-to-week” with a hamstring injury, there also was a recent Julio Jones injury update that will boost the Nick Westbrook-Ikhine fantasy value.

Could the #Titans be without their top two WRs this Sunday?

WR Julio Jones is getting treatment on a leg injury, and his status vs the #Jets is up in the air, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. AJ Brown also may miss a week or two with a hamstring injury.

Julio Jones Injury Update

We know Julio Jones permanently has an injury tag for fantasy football. However, this is an injury tag we may have to worry about for the Titans’ Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets.

Jones is said to be dealing with a leg injury of his own. He will be getting treatment all week long, and his status for the game is truly questionable. It will be a situation to monitor, and his practice status on Friday could/should bring clarity to the situation.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Fantasy Outlook

Suddenly, the Nick-Westbrook-Ikhine fantasy football outlook is skyrocketing. Westbrook-Ikhine led the Titans pass-catchers last week, seeing over 77% of the offensive snaps. In fact, this was more snaps than Derrick Henry as well, proving he was given a large role following the Brown injury.

Should both Brown and Jones be out this week, it will be tough for Westbrook-Ikhine to come off the field. In his large role last week, he recorded four receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown — all team-highs.

If you are a WR-needy team in fantasy football this week, make sure to pick up Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. He will be on the WR3 radar this week. Westbrook-Ikhine should also be a popular, cheap DFS option.
