Still, there is healing that has needed to take place, which is why we have not seen him back on the floor.
What should give Bucks fans optimism is that Giannis can continued to be with his teammates. He continued to be on the bench with his team and has been seem standing on the sidelines during the final games of last series. This reinforces the sentiment that he did not suffer a major injury and he should be back soon.

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer on Monday provided a brief update to Antetokounmpo’s status, saying he was “making progress.”
We have seen Giannis fly to Phoenix. It was also reported that he was working out in a private gym in front of a group of people. Unfortunately, following the workout, the Giannis Antetokounmpo injury update called him doubtful to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals tonight.
However, this does not rule him out the rest of the NBA Finals series. The fact that he has recovered enough this quickly to even be considered suggests he will take the floor sooner rather than later. But what will he look like when he does take the floor?
