    2019 Bengals Stats

    Total Offense: 5,169 yards (26th)
    Offensive Touchdowns: 28 (T-30th)
Offensive Plays Per Game: 65.6 (9th)
    Rush Attempts: 385 (25th)
    Run/Pass Split: Run 36.7% | Pass 63.3%

    Projected Win Total

The Bengals’ over/under is currently at 5.5 wins, after they went 2-14 in 2019. Last season, Cincinnati tanked to draft Joe Burrow from LSU. Despite his arrival, the Bengals aren’t ready to compete just yet. They will get a fof wins, shown by their projected improvement, but Taylor needs to be careful he isn’t choosing to win in exchange for the development for Burrow.

    Strength of Schedule

SOS is measured by calculating the fantasy points allowed by each team’s opponents to determine who has the easiest and most difficult fantasy schedules (rank #1 has the easiest schedule).

    QB: 13th
    RB: 7th
    WR: 21st
    TE: 2nd

    Passing Game

    QB: Joe Burrow, Ryan Finley
    WR: A.J. Green, John Ross
    WR: Tyler Boyd, Auden Tate
    TE: C.J. Uzomah, Drew Sample

The Bengals are in the midst of a rebuild. I don’t love this passing attack for a few reasons. Burrow will need some time to become a fantasy star. I’m not high on either of the tight ends, although Drew Sample does have a nice upside and could be a quality tight end in 2021.

The wide receivers, on the other hand, are impressive. A.J. Green is a monster on the field, when he is healthy. Auden Tate impresses when you watch his game film. He is going to be a solid NFL wide receiver, but he might need a little time. Both Green and Tate are a good fantasy pick at the right time, as is Tyler Boyd, who would become the top receiving threat yet again if Green misses any time. This is value to be had in this receiving corps, just don’t reach for it.

    Running Game

RB: Joe Mixon, Giovani Bernard, Trayveon Williams

    2019 OL Run Rank: 26th

Joe Mixon is the only player on the Bengals that is an overall great fantasy pick. He has an ADP of 11 overall and he is going to get some targets out of the backfield. Mixon has a lot of upside, but he may need to overcome what is a lackluster, at best, offensive line. The line wasn’t good in 2019 and there aren’t many reasons to assume they will suddenly flip the switch. Still, Mixon is a great pick outside of the first round.

His ADP may be slightly higher than he should be drafted, but he is a quality back who is one of the cornerstones of the Bengals rebuild.
