The third overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, RJ Barrett, had a debut for the New York Knicks that has fans absolutely buzzing.

Barrett managed to score 21 points on 9/13 from the field. Barrett did not shoot well from three-point range, but he still converted 33% (1/3) of his attempts from deep. Barrett added to his debut with five rebounds, two assists and two steals. The only blemish to an otherwise stellar debut for Barrett was the three turnovers he committed.

    Good morning.

    RJ Barrett is a Knick.

Per @NBA, Barrett is the second-youngest player (19 years, 131 days) with 21+ points in his first career NBA game (LeBron James: 18 years, 303 days). 🔥 pic.twitter.com/x8WJ5M1jLP

The Knicks did not get the win, as they lost 111-120 to the San Antonio Spurs. Unfortunately for Barrett, losing games will occur much more often than not.

Still, he grades out at an A for his debut.
