The Detroit Pistons, behind a Bruce Brown double-double, take down the Anfernee Simons-led Portland Trail Blazers 93-73.

Bruce Brown Dominates at Point Guard

The Pistons wanted to see how Bruce Brown looked at point guard and early returns are encouraging. The second-year guard out of Miami controlled the game, scoring 17 points and dishing out 10 assists in the win. Brown also added an impressive three blocks and a steal to his stat sheet.

    Anfernee Simons Inefficient in Loss

Blazers second-year guard Anfernee Simons led the team in scoring, with 15 points. The 2018 first-round pick was aggressive on offense, but couldn’t get his shot to fall consistently, going 5-14 from the floor, including 1-4 from deep. Simons is a young, talented player, and the Blazers don’t mind giving him the green light in the Summer League.

    Other Notable Performances

G-League veteran Devin Robinson was active inside for the Blazers, putting up a 14-point and 11-rebound double-double.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk continued his steady play for the Pistons, contributing 18 points, including shooting 4/10 from three-point range.
