March Madness: Sweet 16 Reseeding and Intriguing Matchups

The first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is complete. While it was fun to watch, the bracket has been pretty chalk heading into the Sweet 16. All of the 1, 2 and 3 seeds are still alive, along with two 4 seeds, a 5 seed, and a 12 seed.

To get ready for the Sweet 16, check out our reseeding of the remaining teams and the four games I am looking forward to the most.

    Sweet 16 Reseeding

    1. Duke
    2. North Carolina
    3. Auburn
    4. Gonzaga
    5. Virginia
    6. Tennessee
    7. Florida State
    8. LSU
    9. Michigan State
    10. Kentucky
    11. Michigan
    12. Texas Tech
    13. Purdue
    14. Houston
    15. Virginia Tech
    16. Oregon

    Intriguing Matchups

Florida State vs Gonzaga — Two very high scoring teams are going to battle, and they match up with each other very well. First team to 80 points will end up winning this game, in my opinion.

Michigan vs Texas Tech – If you want to see a ton of three-pointers taken and made, then this is the game for you. All ten players on the court will be scorers and it should be a fantastic game to watch.

Michigan State vs LSU – The talent will be on display in this amazing matchup. LSU has three flat out stars, in Tremont Waters, Naz Reid and Skylar Mays, and Cassius Winston is the star for the Spartans. Winston could have been the player of the year if there was no Zion Williamson.

Auburn vs North Carolina – This is by far my favorite game of the Sweet 16. Auburn is potentially the hottest team in college hoops right now and North Carolina has been super consistent as of late. I see this game coming down to the wire if both teams continue their trends.
