A new week, a new list of injuries. This NFL season really is the season that keeps on giving… injury updates. This past week’s quality of play really suffered, and much of that can be attributed to the ever-growing list of injuries this season, which is a real bummer.
However, life goes on, and we have to find some Week 7 fantasy football streamers to navigate the injuries and bye weeks. The four teams on bye this week include the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Commanders.
I highlighted many of my top fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Week 7 in another article, but they aren’t necessarily the best streaming candidates for Week 7. Below, I will cover the top fantasy football streamers for you to consider this week, with the best option listed for each position.

Fantasy Football Streamers For Week 7
CJ Stroud, Texans vs NYG (43.8% owned) | Fantasy Football QB Streamers
It’s not often we can kick our fantasy football streamers off with a quarterback who ranks as QB5 for the season. CJ Stroud is a must-own player until the Houston defense proves it can stop someone. Right now, the Texans’ offense is forced to outscore opponents, and that has meant great things for Stroud’s fantasy owners.
Stroud has passed for the second-most yards in the league (1,714) while also throwing nine touchdowns to just one interception. This week, he faces a New York Giants team that has bad vibes around it right now. On top of the vibes, the Giants’ defense is allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to QBs.
Start CJ Stroud with confidence in Week 7.
Other Fantasy Football QB Streamers to Consider:
- Aaron Rodgers
- Kyler Murray
- Tanner McKee
Jordan Mason, Vikings vs IND (50.5%)
The Minnesota Vikings’ short-yardage and early-down running back returns from a thumb injury this week. While this article is about Week 7 fantasy football streamers, picking up Jordan Mason is good for this weekend and beyond. He will continue to play a large role, which also puts him in a great opportunity to score touchdowns.
In Week 1 (Mason’s only game), he saw 15 total carries, including four red zone carries and a touchdown. This week, he faces an Indianapolis Colts defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to RBs this season. The Vikings should be able to move the ball relatively easily, which means Jordan Mason will have opportunities in scoring position. He is an RB2 with upside in his return.
Other Fantasy Football RB Streamers to Consider:
- Dameon Pierce
- Kendre Miller
- Tyrone Tracy Jr.
DeMario Douglas, Patriots at CHI (13.9%)
The New England Patriots will play on Thursday Night Football against a Chicago Bears defense that has really struggled. The Bears allow the second-most yards per pass attempt (8.4) while allowing a league-high eight passes of 20+ yards over the past two weeks. The Patriots should be able to attack Chicago downfield, and DeMario Douglas will be a great weapon for them.
While AJ Brown returned to the Patriots’ lineup last week, Romeo Doubs left with an injury that will keep him out for a month. This vaults Douglas back to WR2 status, which led to him catching 11 passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns over the past two games. He’s had an average depth of target of 11.4 yards over these two games, showcasing his ability to get behind the defense.
Other Fantasy Football WR Streamers to Consider:
- Malik Washington
- Dontayvion Wicks
- Savion Williams
Pat Freiermuth, Steelers vs NO in London (57.5%)
This Sunday is National Tight End Day, so expect the position to score plenty of touchdowns. So, you can consider a tight end for your Flex position as well. The stars are aligning for Pat Freiermuth over in Paris, since Sunday will be his birthday as well.
Pat Freiermuth is in a great matchup. With both Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson out, Freiermuth’s role grows. Through six games, he has five red zone targets and four touchdowns. The Saints allow the sixth-most fantasy points to tight ends, and they also allow the most red zone trips in the league per game (4.7).
It is a long flight over to Paris. So, you can expect the team and Aaron Rodgers to be very aware of both Freiermuth’s birthday and the “holiday” for the TE position. This feels like a nearly guaranteed touchdown spot for him.
Other Fantasy Football TE Streamers to Consider:
- TJ Hockenson
- Michael Mayer
- Tyler Higbee
Cleveland Browns Defense at TEN (34.2%)
Of the defenses that you can grab off the waiver wire, your best streaming option will be the Cleveland Browns. While the Tennessee Titans are coming off their first win of the season, that was more a product of the Indianapolis Colts than the Titans themselves. Cam Ward has thrown just four touchdowns to four interceptions this season, so the opportunity for a solid performance from Cleveland’s DST is high this week.
The Browns’ defense has been solid for fantasy, scoring double-digit fantasy points in back-to-back weeks. They have also totaled at least three sacks in five straight games. Look for them to get after Cam Ward this week and make the Titans’ offense inefficient. Check out the FlurrySports Playbook to see where they rank in my waiver wire rankings!
Other Fantasy Football Defense Streamers to Consider:
- New York Jets
- Tennessee Titans
- Arizona Cardinals
