The highly-touted wide receiver is getting a lot of attention recently, as he is coming back from injury and eyeing his return to the field. Odell Beckham Jr. is no stranger to the spotlight and many potential suitors have been knocking at his door. In fact, he even held a private workout for 13 teams, with a few surprises in the list of representatives that attended, including the Browns.

With the rumors circulating online, let’s look at the top three Odell Beckham Jr. free agency landing spots.

Top Odell Beckham Jr. Free Agency Destination – New York Jets

The New York Jets have been heavily rumored to be in trade talks for future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers. Reports even circulated that it’s apparently a “done deal” at this point. Odell Beckham Jr. has voiced his desire to return to the Big Apple, albeit with the Giants. However, given OBJ’s track record of joining teams that are a surefire shot to be Super Bowl contenders (the Rams), the Jets nudge the Giants in that category.

If Rodgers does end up joining Gang Green, then it’s not hard to imagine Odell will soon follow and cash in on the curtails of the proven QB.

The Jets were a quarterback away from making the playoffs — we know it, and they know it. Bringing in Aaron Rodgers will surely incentive other star players to follow, which is never a bad thing. In this case, Odell Beckham Jr. will surely put himself in a spot to make the playoffs with the proven track record of the team so far. However, without finding their QB replacement, as we all know Zach Wilson is on his way out, then OBJ will more than likely skip them as he entertains offers.

Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City was reported to be at OBJ’s private workout in Arizona, much to everyone’s surprise. The Chiefs took fans by surprise when they traded Tyreek Hill away and brought in “underwhelming” support to boost their WR room. However, JuJu Smith-Schuster, who has yet to resign with the Chiefs, and company were able to fill the void left by the All-Pro speedster. Now, a season and Super Bowl removed without the star WR, the team was spotted eyeing OBJ.

Kansas City may not be a big market team like any franchise in New York or Los Angeles, but they do have Patrick Mahomes and consistent Super Bowl appearances. Make no mistake, Odell Beckham Jr. wants to win the big one again and, at this point in his career, if he doesn’t have to grind with a team, then he doesn’t have to. The defending Super Bowl champions make sense for OBJ. He gets his surefire shot to the Super Bowl and the Chiefs add another talented pass-catcher to Mahomes’ arsenal.

Buffalo Bills

To be quite frank, the reported teams that attended his private workout just show how luxurious of a spot the superstar WR is in at the moment. Over half of the teams represented made the playoffs a season ago. Notably, the Buffalo Bills are in the market for another pass-catcher to join the already potent offense. Josh Allen and company certainly warrant the star level for OBJ to join the dynamic young team, but Buffalo is by no means the big market city that OBJ desires. However, it isn’t too far away from one either (NYC), whereas Kansas City is left on its little island in the NFL world.

The Bills weren’t too shy about their need for an offensive boost as they brought back Cole Beasley late in the season to bolster their slot receiver position. They even traded for Nyheim Hines before the deadline last year for minimal gains. Additionally, new rumors are circulating of Stefon Diggs’ supposed unhappiness in Buffalo, due to their lack of playoff success. If Odell Beckham Jr. does end up inking a deal with them, that means Diggs could be on his way out, or it could be the new dynamic duo to break NFL scoreboards.
