The 2023 IOWA/ USA State Championship is all set to kick off, with wrestlers from different age groups from all over the country will be taking on each other.Champions in every bracket will receive a wall chart and custom Jacket or Hoodie, while 1st-6th place wrestlers will receive medals.For a team trophy, that must be a USAW Sanctioned club, and all wrestlers must be registered to a USAW Sanctioned Club to compete for that club at the State level. The top 3 teams, boys and girls, will receive awards.

Seeding :

All brackets are based on the track-wrestling profile for top seeds, then a random draw with wrestlers from the same club/ town placed on opposite sides of the frame.There will be a check scale on-site. All participants must weigh in with the competition singlet. All wrestlers must pass a skin check there, and if there is any condition, the skin check must be signed by a Doctor of Medicine. Only full-time residents of the State of Low can compete in the event. One of the three current-year Athlete Memberships, purchased from www.usawmembership.com It’s necessary to participate in the event if you’re eligible (age and grade-wise) because it satisfies the USAW Folkstyle National Qualification requirement. It’s essential to join USAW Folkstyle Nationals & the Heartland Elementary/ Middle School National Duals.

Rules:

All 6U, 8U, and 10U matches will comprise 1-1-1 minute periods, while 12U and 14U Middle School championship matches will consist of 1.5-1.5-1.5 minute periods. At the same time, consolation matches will have 1-1-1 minute periods. Furthermore, overtime will consist of a 1-minute sudden death period followed by a 30-second ride out if required.

* Standard Admission (Age 18+): $15.00 + $12:35 fees

* Student Admission (Age 6-17): $5.00 + $10.60 fees
