History will be made tomorrow as AEW gears up to take center stage at Wembley Stadium in its highly anticipated UK debut, the company’s first show outside North America.
Five years ago, an event named ‘All In’ changed the wrestling sport and went on to create AEW, which is set to break numerous records with a historical event that, for the first time in the history of the sport (other than WWE), has managed to sell more than 80,000 tickets, making it the largest-ever event in the history of professional wrestling, surpassing the record set by WrestleMania 32 in 2016.

AEW is firing all cylinders to promote its most significant event so far by creating hype amongst fans with setting fixtures of the most prominent names in the industry, such as Chris Jericho, Sting and Will Ospreay, MJF, Adam Cole, Samoa Joe, and many others.
Regarding the most prominent names, AEW has a stacked lineup of 10 matches on the fight card. There will also be a Zero Hour show, scheduled to start one hour earlier than the main event. Below is a brief look at a few of the scheduled fights:
MJF(c) vs. Adam Cole – AEW World Championship
It all began with Adam Cole challenging MJF for the AEW World Championship, which led to an argument and animosity between these two. They’re known as the best friends in the industry and have won the Blind Eliminator tournament but failed to win the tag team titles.
Later, Cole convinced MJF to challenge for the ROH Tag Team Championship and on the pre-show against the Aussie Open, which the latter promptly accepted.
FTR(c) vs. The Young Bucks – AEW Tag Team Championship
The rivalry between these two goes back and has clashed multiple times, even before the formation of AEW. After defending their titles against Brian Cage and Big Bill on Collision’s August 5 episode, FTR challenged The Young Bucks for their trilogy clash with the titles on the line. The Young Bucks accepted the challenge from FTR after defeating the Hardys on the Dynamite August 9 episode.
Hikaru Shida(c) vs. Toni Storm vs. Saraya vs. Britt Baker – AEW Women’s Championship
Hikaru Shida won the AEW Women’s Championship on the Dynamite 200 episode by defeating Toni Storm. AEW announced a fatal 4-way match for the Women’s title in this event. Shida confirmed her place in the game by successfully defending her title against Anna Jay.
Saraya qualified for the match after beating Sky Blue, while Britt Baker defeated ‘The Bunny’ in the qualifier on the Dynamite August 16 episode. Saraya will be in action in London after a long time and will have her hometown support advantage.
Sting & Darby Allin vs. Swerve Strickland & Christian Cage – Coffin Match
Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin defeated Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland from the Blind Eliminator tag team tournament on the July 5 Dynamite episode. It’s worth mentioning that Darby eliminated Swerve from Royal Rampage Battle Royal to become the number one contender for the AEW TNT Championship.
Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy, Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta), and Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) and Santana and Ortiz – Stadium Stampede match
BCC and Best Friends will settle their grudge, which started after Jon Moxley attacked Orange Cassidy and knocked him out after one of his matches on Dynamite. Both groups have a large fanbase, making this match highly anticipated.
CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe – The Real World Championship
CM Punk and Samoa Joe share a long history, going back to 2004, making the feud highly personal to both men. CM Punk defeated his long-time rival for the first time on Collision last month and will defend his ‘Real World Title’ in this historical event.
ROH World TV Champion challenged Punk before choking him out in the main event of another episode of Collision, which Punk accepted after attacking Joe in a luchador outfit.
