This week’s race goes out to the desert. The 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host the South Point 400. The NASCAR Cup Series cut their playoff field from 12 to eight following last week’s race. Defending champion Kyle Larson found himself on the wrong of the cut line after a late problem in the race joining Daniel Suarez, Austin Cindric and Alex Bowman in being eliminated. Eight drivers remain to battle it out to see who will get the chance to win the championship at Phoenix Raceway. Winner of the Las Vegas 1 race Bowman will not be back in the car this week as he is still dealing with concussion-like symptoms. Noah Gragson will be his replacement driver again this week.
Gragson is also in the Xfinity Series playoffs. They are down to their final eight as well. AJ Allmendinger has taken over what Gragson started as Allmendinger has won the last two Xfinity Series races. Can a driver in either series clinch their way to the final four? Read below for all the times that the cars will be on track for the South Point 400.
