2022 NASCAR Federated Auto Parts 400 Racing Schedule and Start Time

The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Richmond, Virginia, for the second time this season on Sunday. The 2022 Federated Auto Parts 400 is one of only three races remaining on the NASCAR schedule before the start of the playoffs. When NASCAR visited this 0.75-mile short track back in the spring, Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 team implemented a perfect pit strategy to score the win.

With Kevin Harvick’s win at Michigan last weekend, there have now been 15 different drivers who have won a NASCAR Cup Series race in 2022. As a result, Ryan Blaney and Martin Truex Jr. now find themselves on either side of the playoff cutline despite ranking second and fourth in total points on the season, respectively. Could this week’s Federated Auto Parts 400 throw yet another wrench into the playoff outlook?

Speaking of playoffs, this week’s NASCAR schedule also includes the second race of the Camping World Truck Series playoffs. Previously, Grant Enfinger locked himself into the next round following his win at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
