Week 7 Fantasy Football Streamers at TE

Logan Thomas, WAS (vs DAL)

Owned in just under 9% of ESPN leagues, Logan Thomas has a great matchup against a bad Dallas defense. Washington does not have a lot of reliable pass catchers, so to see Thomas record three receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown is actually encouraging. If Washington wants to run an effective offense, they will need to run the ball early and often. With how bad the Dallas linebackers looked last week, this can very well open up the play action to hit Thomas on high percentage passes. Dallas presents a great matchup for any offense…even the Washington Football Team.

Look for Thomas to build upon his game from last week and have the chemistry with Kyle Allen continue to develop, allowing him to top the fantasy football streamers at the TE position.

Darren Fells, HOU (vs GB)

I told you last week to start Darren Fells last week. It was also written that Darren Fells was going to score. Fells recorded 85 yards and a touchdown on six receptions. It has become clear that Fells has become a safe option for Deshaun Watson to throw the ball to. He will look to ignite a hot streak this week, as he and the Texans take on a Packers defense, who gave up 78 yards and a touchdown to an aging Rob Gronkowski. This seems like another game where Fells will fall into the end zone and cash in on a solid fantasy week. What concerns me about Fells is that he doesn’t rack up a lot of yards, but in todays NFL, scoring a touchdown will almost always result in TE1 numbers.

Ian Thomas, CAR (vs NO)

In a game that may have big ramifications on the final standings of the NFC South, it is likely that Ian Thomas can be involved in the Carolina offense. With Christian McCaffery still out and Marshon Lattimore probably shadowing Robby Anderson, Thomas should see a handful of targets. New Orleans is last in the NFL on giving up yards to tight ends. This could be a week where Teddy Bridgewater gets on track in a heavy division matchup and find Ian Thomas in the end zone, which is all he needs to be a solid streamer.
