Cowboys Back in “NFC Least” Race

The 2020 NFC East is so bad that they have put us through the seven stages of grief. First, we were in denial that both the Eagles and Cowboys were this bad. It was painful to watch. Then, fans of mediocre teams became angry, knowing the division’s winner would host a playoff game. It was depressing to see a NFC East game on the TV schedule, but watching it was almost funny, knowing one of the teams actually had to win. Now, we’re just working through it and accept this is the worst division in NFL history.

The Cowboys found a way to upset the Vikings in Week 11. This snapped their losing streak and gave them their third win of the season. In other words, they are back in the thick of the divisional race, as sad as it is. Now, every team in the NFC East has three wins:

    1) Eagles — 3-6-1
    2) Giants — 3-7
    3) Cowboys — 3-7
    4) Washington — 3-7

Washington plays the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, so one of these teams will get to four wins…most likely. Which team will win the division, and how many wins will it take?

    The Bounty Bowl

    Nov. 23, 1989 — The “Bounty Bowl”

What was initially a Thanksgiving Day matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys will forever be known as the “Bounty Bowl.” Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson made allegations that there was a $200 bounty on kicker Luis Zendejas, who had been cut by Philly earlier in the season, and star quarterback Troy Aikman.

I am a simple Wisconsin man: I love beer and sports. I decided to create FlurrySports because I was sick of the politics and non-stories that the fat cat corporations put out. When you see football articles from me, just know that I combine my knowledge from playing, coaching, athletic training, and sports management/economic courses to give you a unique, but I feel well-rounded point of view. I am always down to talk about anything, so follow me on Twitter @FantasyFlurry if you decide you want more of me!
