What is Underdog Fantasy?

In addition to live DFS drafts, Underdog Fantasy offers pick’em contests. In essence, making NFL DFS picks on Underdog combines daily fantasy sports and player props into one. A wide variety of player props exist for the NFL Playoffs. The more props a user combines, the greater their potential payout.

Unlike some other platforms in the market, Underdog Fantasy also allows users the flexibility to pick and choose which props they pair together. You can even combine DFS picks from multiple sports and games! When making Underdog Fantasy NFL picks, the only limitations are truly the user’s own imagination and creativity.

Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Payout

For the pick’em game format, users string player props together to form an entry. Without adding “insurance” to the entry, you must get every selection correct to be paid out the following payouts. If picks are correlated, the payout can shift a bit. With insurance, the payout is less, but you can get a selection wrong and still win money!

  • 2 Picks: 3x
  • 3 Picks: 6x
  • 4 Picks: 10x
  • 5 Picks: 20x

Super Bowl Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS Picks Cheat Sheet

Christian McCaffrey LOWER 1.5 Red Zone Targets

We’re starting off with a unique Super Bowl prop! Christian McCaffrey has scored two touchdowns in both playoff games this season, but he only has a combined one red zone target in those playoff games. Also, in the last 1.5 games, the Chiefs have not allowed a running back to see a red zone target.

Brandon Aiyuk LOWER 1.5 20+ Yard Receptions

In the two playoff games, Brandon Aiyuk only has one reception over 20 yards. That one reception was overthrown, bounced off the Lions’ defender and into Aiyuk’s hands, which Aiyuk later claimed was due to a ladybug landing on his shoe pre-game. Going back to reality, and not luck, the Chiefs have not allowed a wide receiver to have multiple 20+ yard receptions in the playoffs, and only three pass plays in the playoffs have gone over 20 yards against the Chiefs. This Chiefs defense allowed the second-fewest yards in the regular season and was tied for the fourth-fewest yards per play, with 4.7 this season. I don’t see Aiyuk catching multiple 20+ yard receptions this game.

Mitch Wishnowsky HIGHER 3.5 Total Punts

Now, you may be wondering why it would be higher when Wishnowsky has only punted more than four times once in his last six games. See, the Chiefs’ defense has been on a different level lately, and they have forced the opponent to punt 11 times in the playoffs this season. This is an average of 3.6, with two of those games seeing four or more punts. The streak does extend for quite a while too, as in seven of the last eight games the Chiefs have forced the opponent to punt the ball four or more times.

Patrick Mahomes HIGHER 133.6 1st Half Passing Yards

In the regular season, Patrick Mahomes averaged 147.6 first-half passing yards. In the NFL Playoffs, not much changed, as Mahomes is averaging 147.3 first-half passing yards. In two of those three playoff games, Mahomes has gone for more than 160 passing yards in the first half.

Justin Watson LOWER 16.5 Receiving Yards

Justin Watson has not gone over 20 receiving yards in any of the playoff games, with his two most recent games having a combined 16 receiving yards. During the playoffs, Watson has only seen a high of two targets. Since Week 12, with all the starters starting, the 49ers have only allowed one wide receiver who was targeted less than two times to have more than 16 receiving yards.

Harrison Butker HIGHER 7.5 Kicking Points

The opposing kickers in the playoffs against the 49ers are averaging 7.0 kicking points. But one of those two games is due to Dan Campbell playing more risky than safe and getting points from his kicker. In the playoffs, Butker is averaging 9.3 kicking points, and the Chiefs do almost have a “home-field” advantage in this sense, with the Chiefs traveling to Allegiant Stadium once a year to face the Las Vegas Raiders. In those four games Butker has played at Allegiant Stadium, he is averaging exactly 7.5 kicking points.
