Following a big AFC North divisional win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8, the Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 7-0 on the season, standing alone as the only undefeated team remaining. They are playing great on both sides of the football and, as you can imagine, this is having an impact on the Steelers Super Bowl odds, despite them being underdogs for the past two weeks.
The Steelers Super Bowl odds continue to soar, with them now at +500 to win it all, according to Bovada Sportsbook. This is a massive improvement from the +2500 odds they had before Week 1.
It’s clear that Ben Roethlisberger is getting more and more comfortable every week since his return from injury. Last week, he was drawing up plays in the huddle (literally) to defeat their divisional rival, which shows the level of confidence they have in themselves and each other.
To go along with a strong offense, the Steelers also have one of the most feared defenses in the league. They are constantly bringing pressure on opposing quarterbacks, averaging 4.3 sacks per game, which is by far the most in the NFL.
The Steelers Super Bowl odds sit only behind the reigning champs, with the Kansas City Chiefs having +333 odds to win it all. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the best odds in the NFC, at +550.
