If you are unaware of what NFL survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 11 NFL Survivor Pool picks wisely.

If you are new to reading my survivor articles, what I do is outline my “lock of the week,” my “value of the week” and my “high-risk, high-reward pick.”

The lock of the week details what team I think has the best chance of winning their matchup. This would most likely be a good team that plays a bad team. The lock is also the official pick for NFL Survivor Pools, meaning we will not reuse a “lock.” My value pick of the week details a mid-tier team that has a good matchup. And finally, my high-risk, high-reward pick details a bad team that has a good matchup. It may be worth it to look at the NFL betting odds for these games and place some bets as well.

Teams Used:

  1. Baltimore Ravens
  2. Buffalo Bills
  3. Jacksonville Jaguars
  4. Kansas City Chiefs
  5. Detroit Lions
  6. Miami Dolphins
  7. Seattle Seahawks
  8. Philadelphia Eagles
  9. Cleveland Browns
  10. Dallas Cowboys

Week 11 NFL Survivor Pool Picks

Lock of the Week | Best Pick for NFL Survivor Pool Picks Week 11

San Francisco 49ers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This week, the San Francisco 49ers will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As many of you know, I often like to pick the teams who host the teams that travel across the country. That works in my favor this week as Tampa is traveling across the country in this matchup. The 49ers looked awesome last week as they dismantled the Jaguars off of their bye. I would fully expect that to continue this week, as Tampa’s offensive line has been much worse than we have seen in recent memory. Both Chase Young and Nick Bosa were awesome last week and I fully expect that to continue. Baker Mayfield is continuing to play injured, so if any sort of pressure can get on the Oklahoma alum, I would imagine bad things are going to happen for the Bucs.

As for the offense, everyone but Christian McCaffery scored last week. I am not taking too much stock into CMC not scoring, as that seemed to be a product of the game script. As was the case for many weeks prior, CMC seemed to be the only one producing on offense. Seeing everyone score last week spells good for a 49ers team that looked like it needed a shot of energy. I think you can expect that to continue this week, as the Bucs have given up the 13th most touchdowns this year with 13 passing. Continuing to get the playmakers will be the key to success for Brock Purdy as the team looks to make a push for the playoffs.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans

I would have taken the Jacksonville Jaguars as my lock of the week, but I took them during Week 3, so they are unavailable to me. I think that this is a huge bounce-back game for a Jags team that got dismantled by the 49ers last week. It is no secret that the Titans want (and need) to run the ball to succeed. The only problem for them this week is that the Jags have only given up 778 yards on the ground this year. If the Titans can’t get the run game going, Will Levis is going to struggle in the passing game. That is another reason why I like the Jags in this game. It is a divisional rivalry game, something that I am not sure Levis is up for yet in his young career.

The Titans will turn the ball over in this game, which plays right into the Jaguars’ hands, as they lead the league in takeaways, with 18. Getting the ball on short field is going to be key for Travis Etienne to get back to his early-season form. With Levis bound to turn the ball over and the Titans scoring just over 11 points per game in road games this season, I think the safe pick is Jaguars this week.

Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants

This is weird to say, but I think that this game is a big NFC East matchup. While it really doesn’t mean much for playoffs, you know that the NFC East always produces great games. The Giants may be the worst team in the league right now and, as much as I like Tommy DeVito, I can’t imagine Giants fans, players and coaches have much confidence in him moving forward.

As for the Washington Commanders, they were a field goal away from beating the Seattle Seahawks last week. On top of that, Sam Howell is currently leading the league in passing yards. The Commanders don’t have much going on, but to say that they are bad on offense would be wrong. Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson both have been solid and, with how bad the Giants’ defense has been, I would imagine that will continue this week. In fact, the Giants have 1,312 yards on the ground this year, good for 29th in the NFL. As far as through the air, the Giants have given up 2,373 yards through the air, which is good for 27th in the NFL. I know that it is crazy, but I think Washington wins this game handily and should have an alright time containing Saquon Barkley in this game.
