The NASCAR Cup Series has a two-race schedule this weekend at Pocono Raceway. ‘The Tricky Triangle’ will play host to the Pocono Organics 325 on Saturday afternoon and the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 on Sunday. The three-turn layout can create quite a hassle for the drivers which can make NASCAR DFS a challenge. Read on for some of the best FanDuel NASCAR DFS plays and non-plays to help you win some money during this double-dip weekend.

FanDuel NASCAR DFS | Races 18 & 19

Pocono Raceway Drivers to Consider

Kevin Harvick ($12,000)

It has been a down year for Kevin Harvick and the No. 4 team. A year after piling up nine wins, he has zero through 17 races in 2021. The upcoming weekend at Pocono could change that. He won the Saturday race here last year and finished second on Sunday. He has a ridiculous average finish of 5.4 in the last six races here so put Harvick in your NASCAR DFS lineups.

Aric Almirola ($6,000)

While it has largely been a season of brutal luck for Aric Almirola, he has been able to build up some momentum over the last two weeks. The No. 10 team has me believing again. Combine their recent showings with the fact that he finished top-10 in both races at Pocono Raceway and Almirola is finally worth a look in NASCAR DFS. With how he has driven the past two weeks, you have to believe that he can get another top-10 finish this weekend.

Daniel Suarez ($5,800)

Daniel Suarez sets up as a cheap FanDuel NASCAR DFS option that could very well have another good run. Suarez knows how to run at Pocono Raceway, evidenced by the fact that he achieved one of his career-best finishes of second here. Suarez and the Trackhouse Racing No. 99 team have surprised some people this season. After finishing seventh at Nashville, they could surprise some more people with another good performance this weekend.

Kyle Larson ($14,500)

This guy is hotter than the sun right now. Seriously, how can Kyle Larson not be included in your NASCAR DFS lineup? He missed the two Pocono races last year so this is his first doubleheader experience at the track. Larson has won each of the last four weeks and has absolutely dominated the three points-paying races. He is probably going to have another race where he goes out and dominates and it wouldn’t be a shock to see him sweep the Pocono weekend.

Pocono Raceway Drivers to Avoid

Martin Truex Jr. ($12,500)

Although Martin Truex Jr. has a history of running very well at this very track, NASCAR DFS players are advised to turn their backs this week. Since his win at Darlington, Truex really has not shown out or even contended with Sonoma being the lone exception. He has an average finish of just 21.6 in the last five races. It is time to steer clear of the No. 19 in favor of others.

Bubba Wallace ($5,000)

Bubba Wallace does not have a good track record at Pocono Raceway. He made his first start at the track and that is about it for milestones. His best career finish here is 20th in the second race of last year’s doubleheader weekend. Combine that with the unpredictability of 23XI Racing this season and Wallace is not a driver you want. Steer clear of the No. 23 car in NASCAR DFS this weekend.

Austin Dillon ($8,000)

The No. 3 car of Austin Dillon has had a solid year so far, but when it comes to his history at Pocono Raceway, it is not the best. He has an average finish of 20th in his last ten races here and his highest finish is only 12th. Look elsewhere when it comes to your FanDuel NASCAR DFS lineups this weekend.

Matt DiBenedetto ($8,200)

Matt DiBenedetto has slowed his roll since he was on the positive side of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs picture. He now finds himself on the outside looking in after some bad finishes. Those bad finishes will continue based on Matty D’s history here at Pocono Raceway. He has an average finish of just 25.4 in his last ten finishes at the track. Although he did finish sixth here the last time they were at the track, we are still avoiding DiBenedetto and the No. 21 team this week.
