Kai Jones Highlights

Kai Jones NBA Draft Profile

Strengths

Kai Jones represents a new era of centers in the NBA. He is athletic, runs the floor well, protects the rim and is capable of defending multiple positions despite his size. Jones is also a competent ball-handler which makes him an exciting prospect for a team looking for a player to draft and develop for a year or two.

Weaknesses

At the college level, Jones’ athleticism helped him make up for his struggles playing off-ball defense. Jones also lacks a post game yet his jump shot still also needs work. Jones started playing basketball at just 15 years old, so there are still growing pains to be expected as he develops.
